Excellent! My family did the Canopy tour. Everything was great! The staff was super friendly and fun, we really recommend this tour

We booked a jungle adventure with Terraventuras, and it was one of the highlights of our time in Costa Rica! Our guides - Pablo and Ventry - were very kind and knowledgeable, and they did a great job of alleviating all of my fears about being so high above the ground (as our package included rappelling, ziplining and suspension bridges) by giving clear instructions on what we need to do to have fun and stay safe. We also appreciated all of the details that were part of our package, including the all-natural bug spray (which must be magic because how else would you explain the fact that we spent three hours tromping around the literal jungle and emerged with only a few bug bites?), the fresh fruit and the efforts to go zero-waste. And as part of the jungle adventure, we got to eat an incredible lunch at a tiny little soda in the middle of a bamboo patch, which was a truly delightful way to wrap up our adventure in the jungle. Finally, no review of this would be complete without mentioning the guides again, all of whom were friendly, attentive and obviously proud of their land and their heritage. I trusted all of them completely and it was that trust that allowed me to have as much fun as I did. I can't say enough good things about this experience. If you're considering it, by all means, go!

We took the jungle adventure tour and had such an incredible time! Travel accommodations were timely and friendly, and our guides were helpful and friendly also. They showed us all the local trees, bugs and animals. The zip lines are very high up but very safe and I felt we were in good hands. Even during a downpour we had a great time hiking, and rappelling down waterfalls. I was amazed and pleased that the guides didn’t take any pictures and try to sell them to us like other adventure tours I’ve been on. Do yourself a favor and bring a waterproof camera or case for pictures. Also, bring a change of clothes!

We did the Cahuita hike/snorkeling trip and the Caribe horseback riding outing with our two children. Our guides were all extremely well prepared, and we had a great time on both outings. The snorkeling was much better than I had hoped for Costa Rica. We saw a large variety of reef fish including several nurse sharks.

This canopy/zipling tour is amazing. It's hours of non-stop ziplines at different lengths, angles, and speeds. And, the carbon fiber lines make it smooth and quiet. The guides were incredible. Overall, great experience for great price. Eat something before and after. Fruit at the end is sparce. Free water available. Lockers for your extra stuff. Free eco insect repellent. The transportation at the end of the tour was a little sketchy. They don't have buses that go all the way up to the site so they drop people off and have you wait for 30 minutes to get picked up. We had a pirate taxi driver pick us up after we were left at a store with very little information. BUT, relax it's Costa Rica. Everything turned out fine. If you have a local ID you get a 9 USD discount.
