    This was very fun. We were lucky to have beautiful weather too. They provide a shuttle up the path for mobility impaired persons also so everyone can enjoy the experience. Might be a little pricey for what it is but once you pay you can take as long as you want or go round more then once.

    Highly recommended. Unique close-up views of the top of the canopy. Some bird song, but not as much as I expected to hear (or see). Wear sturdy footwear (sneakers, lace-ups, boots). Lots of parking. Toilets available. Cafe onsite. A little expensive I thought, but prices are advertised on their website so make your own decision. Friendly staff. Transport available to give you a lift up/down the steeper part at the beginning/end.

    This is on our list of Super 20's. What beautiful place to visit. The birdlfe is truly amazing. The staff here are very friendly and informative. Watch out for an elderly chap by the name of Norrie. He has a remarkable back ground with the Department of Conservation. Have chat to him about attracting birds to your place or area.

    Great experience! I highly recommend having a meal at the cafe too. The beef burger was superb and very affordable.

    Fantastic experience and really friendly staff as you find everywhere on the coast. A great fear of engineering and its great being at the same height as the tops of the trees. Definitely do this when your in Hokitika
