The protective port of Hameln is a branch of the Weser. The Fleet Weser parks its ships there when not in use. An idyll of nature, maritime and industrial facilities. The Kampffmeyer Mühlen once made their grain products here and sent them around the world by silo. They were supplied by cargo ships on the Weser. In addition to the ships of the Weser fleet, there are also some inhabited houseboats here. Amsterdam flair. On the south side of the Weser long-distance cycle path leads past, which is led over a bridge over the protective harbor to the banks of the Weser. If you look from the bridge into the harbor, you start dreaming. Once a year the harbor association organizes a harbor party with live music around their houseboat. A visit is highly recommended. In the immediate vicinity of the protective harbor are the canoe club, the marsh flower or the ship of the marine comradeship "Pluto". Take a break, eat and drink something, no problem in the section to the Weser bridge. A camper place is right at the harbor. Unfortunately, you can't go around. Maybe someday.
