    Fish migrate in search of food or to spawn. In Hameln, however, the fish encounter insurmountable obstacles on their hike. The Hamelin Weser weir. The problem was recognized very early in Hameln and this fish passage was built in 2001/2002. Also with the aim of bringing the salmon back home.
