Super nice camping site, with a peaceful atmosphere and immerse in wonderful nature all around. There is also super jummy food available on site in the weekends and the possibility to rent canoes and kayaks. The facilities are not super abundant but they are kept very tidy by the nice hosts. They're already working on building new ones in respect with nature. Very recommended for a weekend gateway in nature.

1 Star for Service and Staff Friendliness: The staff were very hardworking and can be seen to be working the whole day... mowing the lawn, painting the benches and tables... and overall very friendly and helpful. 1 Star for the locale: The location and even the bike trip there from the town of Zehdenick are lush and green and relaxing... it's a mix of small town and farm town feel to it, and when you reach the camping ground it was also green and inviting. Negatives: 1. Toilet and shower - The toilet is basically a 20-ft container with 2 doors. In side, there are the women's toilet and the men's. There's only 1 single toilet (seat) and 2 pissoirs for the men's room... There is a small window that provides minimal light to see what you're doing, and the light only goes on at night. The shower is really the worse I've seen ever! It is a very small "room", roughly 1m x 1m, built on a wooden platform attached to the toilet container. Has no door, and on top of you within hand's reach are the leaves of a nearby tree. Once you get in, and you turn around, you basically face some bushes. I get the feeling of being exposed... but it's not that big a deal. What bothers me are the presence of insects and mosquitoes buzzing around before you start showering. The plumbing of the shower seems not to be working well, as most of the water seems to flow onto the ground before the bush, and it puddles up, causing it to become a pool of mud. 2. Water of lake/river - The water of the area is turbid and deep, swimming in the area is no fun as you can't even see your fingers in front of you. The flow of the river in this area is very slow and almost stagnant, and that could explain why there is an ABUNDANCE of insects and mosquitoes. Also, there are many many slugs on the area, and they keep climbing our tent. 3. Food (and its availability) - Food is excellent and well prices but ONLY available on Friday evening to Sunday evening. This means you need to be prepared if you want to be there during the weekdays and the closest other areas to eat or buy food is around 7 km away...

Awesome place, very chill - the atmosphere as well as the staff. We had a nice spot for our tent next to the water and thanks to a big tree we even had some rain shade. Next day we rented a canou and paddled up and down the river. Sooo much fun! Try it!

The place is sooo beautiful, you can take a kajak or just bike around the lakes. Also the famous bike way to Copenhagen is going via that place. The food is fantastic, catering from Berlin, you get fantastic grilled sandwiches and breakfast on the weekends. They do a campfire in the evening and the shower is super cool! Everything is just perfect for a long weekend or a stop over. They are the nicest people, we will come back! 💯

Nice campsite with a small river harbor offering canoe, kayak, and standing paddle board rental. The on-site food stand, Happs, is exceptional.
