variety of berries and a grape for picking. closed on Saturdays. Good to go on weekdays rather than Friday and Saturday. they provide camping facilities. Can expect good response from staff round the clock. Ambience is good. Can rest nicely, and cover nearby attractions like nimrod fortress, Mt. Bental, Volcanic gardens etc., during daytime.
We had a fun experience picking berries. By the time we arrived at 10, raspberries and blackberries were gone. There were plenty of blueberries and different tree berries which were super sweet and well worth getting hands filthy for. Facilities were fine. Toilets clean, play area for little kids and plenty of shaded seating. Eat what you like but pay for what you take away.
A huge variety of berries to pick. It is strongly recommended to check what is actually available before arriving, and arrive very early. When we were there all the cherries and raspberries were gone, and the blueberries were not ripe enough, and some fruits like mango flavored grapes were not ripe all. What remained was mainly a single blackberry tree, that while being very tasty, wasn't really worth it. it should be stated though that we were told what was available before paying the entrance fee, so we new what we were getting.
A great place to pick many different kinds of fruits and berries. We enjoyed a beautiful day with many Mulberries, blueberries raspberries and blackberries. Yum!
Fun, but selection of ripe fruit limited. Suggest getting there as early in the morning as possible for better variety.
