Nice hotel with good service. The room is clean and smells really good.
In my opinion it is a mediocre and dirty place. Locals have setup camp around the falls and leave the resultant garbage for the rains to wash downriver. We paid 1usd per person to enter from the road and had to ride down a bad dirt road to get to the point where you climb down a mountain to get there. Locals will be seen washing their hair with soap next to you in the river.
Yes this is a new hotel plus it is cleaner than another guest house which is old and dirty. But one thing's I dislike that the hotel no shower curtain whenever u take shower the whole bathroom is wet.
We arrived late and were happy to find a few new hotels in town. We inspected Srey Oun but it wasn’t clean and was surrounded by KTV’s. We ended up at Long Thorn - nice, clean, good location and friendly staff. Rooms are new and everything works as it should. Fan or a/c rooms available, $10 and $13 respectively. Hot water, WiFi and cable tv all function. Unfortunately during our stay it was very Smokey from the locals burning the forest and everything else. Smoke seeped into the room, under the door and through gaps in the window. Not a fault with the property, though they could possibly close the doors and windows in the public areas. Rooftop is accessible and offers sweeping views of the town, and some mountains.
We arrived after long journey tired and dirthy and found this hotel. The staff were very nice. We had a room just for one night for 10$ with fan. The room was nice and tidy everything perfect. Our motorbike was parker in a safety place behind the hotel. Defenetly recomended.
