A disaster, phoned 2 days straight to change a ticket I purchased. After driving 30 miles to Marsh Harbour too much time had passed since I purchase the ticket and I had to pay a $30 penalty. I don't know when the Company and staff will get their act together - Not enough space to talk about all the bad experiences as a frequent flyer 🙄
The Ladies on the phone were AWESOME..Nadia and Brittany...quite a team! Also....the lady at the Ticket Office..was very helpful and professional..even though I did not have all the documents that I needed at the time! I was impressed! Thank you all so much! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Well.. where do I begin. We had flights to the Bahamas for Thursday. They ended up changing the flight, didn't tell us, so we sat in the airport waiting for over 4 hours. So, we lost a day of vacation, had to get a hotel and had no reimbursement. The next day we arrive at the airport for our rescheduled flight. Mind you, the flight was at 130 and we didn't take off till nearly 4. Monday, on our way back, the "35 minute" flight was delayed on takeoff and landing. So, instead of 35 minutes it ended up being an hour and a half, causing us to miss our connection flight with Spirit ( Which was not refundable and wouldn't costed us an extra $99 to book.) They would not help us resolve the issue in the airport or at the bahamas. They kept referring to a number for us to call "post" trip. Extremely displeased to say the least.. **WARNING** DO NOT FLY WITH BAHAMAS AIR FOR YOUR NEXT TROPICAL VACATION! I promise the extra money for Jetblue or Delta is worth it.
Needs new, young, competent, and proficient staff members. Some of the staff there have no idea what's going on and there's this older staff member in particular that moves EXTREMELY SLOW. The staff in Freeport has poor customer service, unlike the ones in America and New providence. If I can help it, I certainly wouldn't be flying with Bahamas Air due to their poor service.
