Cramer Family Park is a green space park owned and operated by The Town of Apple Valley. Formerly known as the Mountain Vista Park, it has been renamed to Cramer Family Park in honor of the late Margaret “Maggie” Cramer. Maggie and her late husband, Walter, were actively involved in the High Desert community since 1979. They were the co-chairmen to raise the capital funds to build the "Cooper Home." She was a member of Soroptimist International of Victor Valley and the Assistance League of Victor Valley. They also established the Cramer Family Foundation, Inc. which helped promote A.S.A.P. (After School Activities Program) in Hesperia and Apple Valley. The Cramers provided years of service to the community particularly with the local youth and also donated the land for the park.
