I went there the other week with my boyfriend and was not the biggest fan. We had to return the shrimp tacos since they tasted frozen (the manager informed us that they were) and got another fish taco instead. The fish taco and margaritas were delicious and the server as well as the manager were polite and professional. I ordered the asada burrito and it was okay. I would recommend getting drinks and chips but order tacos from a different place.
Nuevo is solid 9 out of 10 times and has great prices for their Cadillac margaritas, they definitely don’t skimp on the alcohol for the price. Staff are super friendly, and the food is almost always on point. Would be 5 stars but sometimes the food leaves a little to be desired, but it’s only an off day once in a while, definitely going to keep coming here for years.
Have enjoyed all their hamburgers here for almost a decade. Recently tried their grilled ahi salad, and it instantly became my new favorite. Simply perfect. So.I have praised their burgers, I have praised their salads. But not everything is perfect here. Though ot will not cost them a full star, Up The Hill Grill ( therefore Neuvo Grill) has what I have well researched as the absolute WORST FRENCH DIP in the entire city of Ramona. It LITERALLY was far too little roast beef on a sandwich roll I could have bought in a six-pack at Stater Bros for 3 dollars with a basic rehydrated beef flavor pack pretending to be au jus. I could have made a better sandwich for 4 dollars, instead of buying theirs for 16.
Food was good, meat was seasoned well and juicy, rice and beans are always OVER peppered, prices are around $15-20 dollars so also on the expensive side
Amazing ambience, great food, excellent service, and welcoming staff! Jalapeno margaritas are amazing here. The chips are always warm and fresh, and you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.
