I have nothing but good things to say. Deputies from the Ramona department promptly found me when I was incapacitated on a mountain trail, called in a helicopter that plucked me up and took me to a deputy in Ramona who promptly drove me back to my car. I found the deputies to be polite and personable.
I am completely amazed at the lack of one OUNCE of empathy from our small town Sherriff's dept. I am so proud of this town, so sad that our protectors treat even the good law abiding citizens so rude. I was crying because I was scared and I had to ask them to please speak nicely. Still did not work. I have asked around in town and this is pretty much how things go here, say our fellow Ramona citizens. Can we as human beings help and treat others kind? Why do we have to be so rude? I just don't understand. Very sad.....disappointed.
Are you kidding me. ? Out of all of the sheriff's. That works here in Ramona area. There are two that are actually nice or should I say civil to the public unless their comanding officer is present ...... We are all human beings here ......
