Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Diego-Sorrento Valley, an IHG Hotel

This is a beautiful hotel that's close to the beach about 18 minutes away without traffic. We enjoyed our stay and they have new beds that were just so comfortable BeautyRest. The hotel was very clean and tidy and even the shampoo shower gel and conditioner where are provided in each shower and I really liked the products. The Hotel staff was very attentive and kind. Gigi made our stay very enjoyable and she has a great customer service 💖 We would definitely come back!!

My husband and I often stay at the hotels of this chain, but I have never seen such a dirty room and old renovation in any other place. The hotel staff are very nice and helpful. There are no complaints about them. However, I would like to draw the attention of the hotel management to the fact that the rooms need a complete renovation. Towels, walls, furniture were very old and dirty, there was no ventilation in the bathroom! We were very disappointed with this hotel(((

Wonderful place. They treated my wife and kids like we were guests in their home. The staff at the door and front desk are super friendly and want to be as helpful as you need. The price was so reasonable and an amazing bargain when you consider you are walking distance to downtown.

The family and I, always travel to San Diego for a getaway. The price was not worth the stay. When I booked the room, the lady on the phone who helps with booking; she informed me there was hot breakfast available. She also stated the pool was open until 10pm. However, this was a lie and the promises were not kept. Even though the state has opened up and most establishments are fully open, there should be hot breakfast if we are paying $150 a night. We also split the bill and a lady in the front took both cards. Now checking both accounts, she charged on account only. The rooms are okay. Very outdated and old, dirty carpet. The beds were good but pillows were terrible. The ac units needs to be cleaned as they have a ugly odor. I suggest you bring your febreze spray. I should have listened to the reviews. This hotel was not worthy to stay at.

Horrible horrible service won’t take temporary bank card for a deposit that wasn’t even mentioned to me when booking. We are from out of town and now we to go home with no money. Nowhere in the the booking process said anything about a $100 deposit. They won’t take my temporary card nor cash this is some bs.they said they will refund but they refused last minute. Horrible service and they told us that i should go back to the hotel that does take my card and why did i leave there if there was no issue. Find better employees because that is hella rude! You don’t tell someone to go somewhere else. They didn’t even try to help us out!
