Dr Michelle really takes the time & effort to give us such attention & thorough review every time we see her with our baby. Can’t recommend enough. 5***** for amazing GP service.
Excellent doctors with appointments that are usually readily available
Would not recommend. The practice manager is really rude and lacks bedside manner. I saw the doctor for a suspected broken toe, the doctor was really lovely and I have no complaints about her bedside manner. Rather, she sent me for an x-ray. The x-ray technician said it was a bad break and was 'urgently' sending the report back to the doctor and that they should have it within half an hour. This was at around 2pm. I then went home and waited for the doctor to phone me with treatment plan etc. Instead, I had to phone them at 5:30 as I hadn't heard anything. They said the systems were down.... She then referred me to a Physio...for a broken bone and said to see her in two weeks to determine if I needed surgery (!?). I saw the physio, they didnt strap my toe, or realign it - despite it being wonky and causing me a lot of pain and inability to walk properly. I'm in my late 20s, fit and healthy and so really need the ability to walk, run and do exercise. They fitted me with a moon boot, which was too big for me, but he said it would be good enough. No pain killers or any real form of aid to help the broken bone - just something to help me walk. They told me recovery time was 8 - 12 weeks which obviously has made me feel very low. I phoned and emailed the practice during the week requesting a medical note for my gyms, and by Friday it still hadn't been received. So I phoned in on Saturday morning and spoke to Ashleigh, who was pretty flippant and made me feel like my queries were not important. I also asked to speak to the doctor or if she could let the doctor know that I was on day 7 of taking 6 neurofen a day. She said she'd make a note and send me through the medical cert for my gyms. Alas no response. On Monday I went to get a second opinion, the doctor said that the toe of course did not need surgery and said "No wonder you are in so much pain, your toe is essentially hanging off your foot". She reset my toe and strapped it up, told me to take off the moon boot and come back in six weeks for another xray. Last night (Wednesday), I sent another email, firm but fair, describing how I felt it was now unacceptable that I had not received the medical certificate and asking whether I had done something wrong to deserve a complete radio silence. This morning at 7:40am, I received a call from the practice manager who had an incredibly defensive tone and told me I was rude for sending the email... I asked her if she thought phoning me like this would help the situation... she was just incredibly rude and seemed to think my injury didn't warrant any compassion or kindness. As someone that works in the health sector you would assume approaching patients with caution, she has no idea (or shouldn't being the practice manager and not a dr) about my medical history or current issues including mental health. I was shocked and had to hang up in the end as her barrage of accusations continued. Like she was looking to have a fight - it was honestly bizarre. I wasn't going to complain about the medical diagnosis or treatment plan but now I definitely will. They wasted my time and money by sending me to the wrong place as well as putting me through an incredible amount of pain and time off work, when the Dr could have reset my toe then and there. The major issue is the practice manager and her attitude, if she treats me like this - how does she treat other patients? Doctors and GPs should be a safe haven for people, not something to be scared of going to or worried about being attacked for simply asking for an explanation
Highly recommend Dr Julian Talarico. Very thorough and does not rush.
Highly recommended. Great service, friendly doctors and support staff.
