Gentleman was very efficient. There was one car in front of me and he got to me within minutes of getting there. Had my car up and working on right away, and it was really hot so if hed stopped to get a drink would have totally understood, but nope, got on it and got it done quickly. Great experience. Would recommend this place.
It is true that he was fast. My problem is the customer service that he gave. I am re-registering my vehicle in another state and he did not put in the state the license plate was from. That made it so the online registration was not able to pull my record. I called him so that he would adjust the record and he told me that it was my fault for not telling him that I wanted it for another state. He told me he put certification type: California. He said he had done his job so he was not going to help me. I had to call a completely different shop to figure out what was going on and whether any changes needed to be made on the record by this other guy. They told me that the other state would require the certification type as California no matter what so that was no the issue. The problem was most likely because he did not put in the license state. Because of that the other state will not see it, and that portion could not be adjusted once every thing had already been put in the system. Ok, he cannot fix the problem. Fine. I should not have to tell him to fill in the most basic parts to the inspection information. He shouldn't talk that way to customers and not admit that he was skipping steps. Now I have to send from California's DMV to another DMV. I liked that he was open on Saturday so I didn't have to take work off to go and do the DMV mess. If you treat your customers like trash they will not come back.
Quoted me $101 for a smog check on a 92 Toyota pickup and when agreed to pay the price turns me away and says he can’t do it because his machine is down. All while doing a smog for another customer.
