No complaints here, when we first got here we use their po box, get our mails and packages in a timely manner. I also use this USPS to send out packages even after we move to Plumas Lake. It's not busy or crowded, line move pretty quick. The clerk is very helpful when I have questions. They do close 1hr for lunch, from 130 to 230.
Not sure why but customer service and people skills are lacking in this post office. Unfortunate.
I called 3 times and they hung up on me 3 times. They are good about calling you back on their automated call back system. But they are horrible at picking up the phone when YOU initially call them. Get ready to be hung up on and have your tax dollars at work on this archaic system.
Been stationed here a few years. Optometry has to send glasses through these guys, and never had a problem receiving them, but now they refuse to send glasses straight to us, and my stuff keeps getting lost, and other people's glasses are going missing as well, and the post office has no idea what happened to them. Also, extremely rude people working there. This the only base post office I've seen that flat out refuses to do thei job
They're usually helpful, especially in office, however, they are notorious for mixing up packages/addresses. I've gotten a wrong package delivered to me multiple times, of which I took to the appropriate addresses myself, and I've had EXPENSIVE purchases get delivered to the wrong address and had to track them down myself...... :/
