The best part of our stay was the nice woman who worked in the morning stocking the breakfast area. The room was the worst room I’ve ever stayed in at Holiday Inn - which were supposedly just “renovated” - there’s no way the beds were replaced cause they were rickety squeaky and the pillows were terrible with no give when you lay on them. The shower was embarrassing- hot water took 10 minutes to get hot and had no pressure. We’re pretty sure our room wasn’t cleaned cause there’s was all kinds of stuff under the top sheet and the carpet left my feet slightly sticky after walking around barefoot. It was also one of the most expensive holiday inns we’ve ever booked. We checked out and slept on the floor of my in laws house - it was that bad.
The third floor suite was clean, spacious and business ready. Everything was in order, no problems checking-in. The king size bed was pleasantly comfortable and their breakfast was top of the line. Five stars.
Nice clean rooms, great customer service, really good breakfast available. Only downfall is they need a hot tub in the pool area.
It's always great. I do miss the wonderful breakfast while they are under construction. But the construction crew was quiet, we never heard them.
One of the newer hotels in Yreka, so a good choice if you are looking for a less run-down stay. What they lack in amenities they make up for with clean rooms and friendly service. Right off the 5 Freeway makes access a breeze.
