Providence St. Mary Medical Center

My son and I had a wonderful experience here.The security guard at the front door, George was amazing! I have never witnessed such patience and kindness. The guy needs a raise. We saw Dr.Phillip and he was great! And was so funny too! The over all experience was great other than the wait time,but what do you expect lol... Thank you.

They have no regards for privacy of anyone… First as I was waiting in a hallway full of people that were waiting as well I was approached by the admitting personal asking all my personal information information out loud in front of everyone which I continued to answer to see how far the questionnaire would go but I stop her up until she asked out loud my social security number… I question her… you want me to say my SS out loud here for which she replied “ yes, I’m sorry I know” and than offer “you can write it if you want” for which I said I would rather do that. She apologized after saying how she agreed that it was uncomfortable saying personal information out in the open but she wasn’t allowed nor she had a room to take us for more privacy… Than now like about 10 minutes ago the doctor comes out to us here in the hallway and discussed out load the medical findings of my sons visit… with no regards to everyone publicly just starting and hearing everything… pretty much everyone in this hallway knew the reason why my son was in the ER for and what was the medical findings… and Ion top of that he goes and ask do you have any questions… how could we have questions when we were so embarrassed. Honestly when I seek medical attention I expected to be between me and my caring medical team not the whole public… Really upset Kaiser referred us here… such violation of HIPPA

Waited for hours just to be discharged as the doctor forgot to do it. Kept asking nurses who were very nice. But they kept saying they are waiting on doctor. Took forever to finally see doctor to question what happened

My husband is taking me down the hill to give birth cause how bad the hospital is. For 17 years my husband just told me that his mother and father would not go to the hospital up in the desert cause they will not take care of you or anyone who is pregnant. My sister in law goes to this hospital when she was in labor she told me they are rude and they left pieces of placenta in her stomach and also never gave her a blood transfusion when she was loosing alot of blood. I'm glad I'm staying away from this place I only went in once to check on my baby and I asked for a simple thing which was water and they never gave it to me that's bad service at it's finest.

My care from the ER to after surgery care was amazing. Compassionate caring people. I will always refer this hospital over any other in the high Desert area. Thank you for taking care of me in my time of need.
