Lindfield Montessori Preschool has gifted both my children with the best possible start to eduaction. Their approach was nurturing, and child-led which produced confident and kind children who love to learn. Lindfield Montessori has given them such amazing memories and taught them so much. Having completed the kindergarten program, my son has thrived in his new school and is doing extremely well academically and socially. My daughter is currently in the kindergarten program and has come so far in the two years already there. Lindfield Montessori has brought so much joy and happiness to my children. They have made life long friends, and have the deepest respect for their teachers, who are nothing short of incredible. Choosing this school for my children was one of the smartest decisions my husband and I have made.

We discovered Lindfield Montessori after going for a walk after moving to the area. We enquired at the preschool for our child but found out that children start at 3 years and she was too young :( The teacher there told us about the toddler program and we booked in to do a trial lesson. We were so amazed with all the activities that our child was offered to do! Ashley helped her feel at ease right away which was fantastic becuase she is often really shy with other people. She didn't want to go home after the first class! Now she can't wait to go to toddler class and asks all week when can she go back to play! We're so excited we found this!!

Unsucure enviorment for Infants! We were disappointed in the response from Montessori West Lindfield when we raised the issue of no security gates for toddlers who attend the infant program. Our son attended Montessori Lindfield for one term last year and we witnessed multiple children (including ours) running out the door on a number of occasions as they thought it was a silly game. Even though you are in attendance with your child a 2 year doesn't grasp that this is dangerous no matter how much to try to discipline them around safety. Our son also attends Montessori Castlecrag who have security gates and are very professional and welcoming. When you ask for something they get it done unlike Montessori in West Lindfield. It definitely isn't a well oiled machine....even the back gate of the infant area has pretty much collapsed. Montessori Lindfield is held in Church grounds which have 2 unsecure access areas that toddlers can run out to the carpark or the street. We witnessed another child run right out to the street and his mother chased him and luckily caught him before he got to the road (He was about 1 mtr from the road at this point....scary!!). Once i raised the issue of no security gates the educator Ashley basically said its how you discipline your child....as she was saying this to me another child run behind her out of the door towards the street once again. To tell me that this has never happened before seems unrealistic in my opinion. I would have been happy to pay for gates to protect the children. A simple lock on the door from Bunnings would be suffice. In my opinion they have are negligent and don't want any form of accountability. The Church should also be accountable and have these gates installed. Does a child have to be injured for them to take action? We have now asked for enrolment forms 6 times and they don't send it we suspect because we queried the security gates. Shame on them, any parent should be able to query these things without being punished. I wonder what this says about the culture of the school. In fact, child security should be implemented before you even have children set foot on the premises. We shall stick to Montessori in Castlecrag. They are efficient and really care...you child is "Seen". Not the experience we had with Montessori in West Lindfield who didn't even follow up to see if our son would be attending the following term. Response to Owners Review below Really? Now you're making up stories about offering us an interview, contacting us on multiple occasions and that our son was the only toddler who ran out of the school? It's very unethical for a educator to lie for the sake of protecting your reputation online. You have jumped the gun and haven't fact checked your reponse. We never have or would discredit the other Montessori thats why he attended both locations every week and continues to do so. If we had an issue with the other one, why would we continue to send him there? Your response doesn't match any facts im afraid. How do you explain the other toddler who ran out to Fiddens Wharf Road where his mum chased him and was really distressed? How do you explain the little girl who also ran out of the room into the church? You can't explain it because you weren't there to witness any of it. We have multiple witnesses. To say it was just our son is completely dishonest. There were 4 witnesses in total including Ashley who is a wonderful educator. Your response says nothing about protecting the children or putting a plan in place for their security. I even called Ashley on the 17th of February and she said that you were looking for a new location which was great news. I even offered to help and have her a suggestion for a new location to help out. I would love nothing more than for you to do the right thing and ensure that no child is potentially hurt. This is all that matters. Please refrain from childish lies, its quite dispicable for someone in a position of trust.

Very attentive and caring teachers which made it very easy for our child to settle in (two days!) and enjoy his early learning.
