What a delight to find this little slice of paradise right across the street from the North Main train station in downtown Houston. The 11:35 AM mass filled my soul as did the “regular crowd” that was present to partake in the blessed sacrament of the Eucharist. Decorated very simply, with emphasis on the Saint Michael the Archangel statue and that of the Virgin Mary. But not to be overlooked were the relics of Holy Men and Women. Highly recommend.

In the hustle and bustle of downtown Houston with the traffic noise and clacking Red Line train, this small chapel is the Lord's oasis. The chapel with the lighted crucifix is beautiful. Two masses are offered at lunchtime on weekdays. Whenever I'm in the Main Street Square area, I stop for a few minutes, still my mind and reflect on our Savior's sacrifice. By His grace and through His blood, He saved a worthless sinner like me.

I love going to confession and daily mass there. It is one of the best things about working downtown.

This is one of the best kept Catholic secrets in Houston - a beautiful, quiet, and holy sanctuary from downtown. The chapel is gorgeous, and daily mass on weekly work days is very relaxing. All of the people here are warm and hospitable. I’ve had some of my best Catholic experiences in this chapel.

This is a true refuge in the midst of our world's chaos. The priests are very reverent and have wonderful insight. The bookstore is a great addition too.
