Fresh breads and cakes. Very popular with worker buying baked goods for lunches. Usually easy to park.
Best pies in Loftus. Lovely people.
Bonus points for decent $1 donuts (including pineapple flavour!), and acceptable pies. Points lost for fake cream (so sad) and low quality chocolate (tried the rocky road slice, not so good). Prices are pretty good overall, and fresh bread is going to leave supermarket bread for dead.
What a shame. I've been buying lunch and morning tea from these guys for years and now I was just openly deceived and spoken to rudely. I purchased a coconut slice then opened it in the shop to discover that it was 30% smaller than the ones in the display window. When I questioned the difference the lady reached out with her hand and demanded it back rudely. I said no and that I will never be back. So dissatisfied.
Great bread, pies, sausage rolls and cakes. They make Pork Rolls that are great. Also you can have other fillings. Friendly service. Also have a drink fridge. We drive from Engadine specially.
