They've always delivered a good service despite having to offer so many services to the community. Consistently better than my attempts at using a courier. Customer service noticeably better than 10 years ago. Would be nice if their AusPost overlords funded an after hours or weekend service (most of you are asking to see the wrong manager).

This is the most unprofessional, rude and obstructive post office I have come across in Sydney. Numerous 1 star review can't be wrong. It truly deserves a NEGATIVE rating. The ''manager'', often described by numerous other Google reviewers as the older little man, is incredibly intrusive and abrupt. Whenever he interacts with customers, he can't help but always yells. His manner is absolutely dreadful and is a huge disgrace of AUS Post. Why is he still allow to work there? The rest of the junior staff have no clue of what they are doing, even for simple task of scanning return labels or sorting out passport photos. Nearly everything has to go through the older little man, causing significant delay. I can't believe there is a differential treatment for different customers, I have observed that passport photos customers are given preferential treatment to JUMP THE QUENE. The older little man asked customers in the queue the purpose of visit. If they come to return items, HE ASKED THEM TO LEAVE THE POST OFFICE AND LEAVE THE RETURNS OUTSIDE. He even told them '"don't come in next time due to COVID''. Some customers require the return QR code scanning to generate the label but the little old man refuses, claiming it is COVID protocol. I have since checked with AUS Post and found out there is no such thing. He simply does not want to deal with returns. Customers collecting parcels are also treated like dirt, the little old man will find every opportunity to SLAM their parcels. Please do yourself a favour, go to other nearby post offices and save yourself the humiliation of being yelled at and having to deal with such obstructive, incompetent and rude staff who lash out at you for no reason and ruin your day.

I don’t often write reviews and when I do they are usually written to praise hard working and dedicated people I come across. However, for a number of years I have been tempted to write an unfavourable review about this establishment but managed to talk myself out of it. I understand that some people have no choice but to do jobs they don’t enjoy. Having said that, this establishment never fails to provide below standard services. I live nearby, but seldom patronised this post office due to several unpleasant experiences. The older little man who works there has a rude and condescending manner. So, I tend to go to other post offices where the staff are more friendly and efficient. Considering the lockdown restrictions, I thought it best to do the right thing and limit my travel distance, so this morning I went there to ask them what would be the safest/securest way to post an original legal document, whether to use an Express Post or a Registered Post envelope. There was a young woman in her 20s at the counter and she answered my question in a very rapid and thick foreign accent I could not understand. Being a migrant myself, I sympathised with her, plus the mask she wore also obscured what she was saying. Then the older little man appeared from the back room and asked me to repeat my question, which I did. He asked what kind of legal document it was and where I’m sending it to. I said it’s an original Title Deed of my home and I need to post it to the NSW Land Registry Services. I explained to them that a package sent by a work colleague to my office using Express Post got lost and I tried tracking it down a number of times with no success. Therefore, I am very nervous sending an original document using the same method, in case the same thing happens. He said the best way is to use an Express Post envelope, but I need to pay $2.50 extra to get whoever receives the package to sign for it. He said “Express Post is very good. You won’t have any problem”. I said “Okay, I have some Express Post envelopes at home, thank you, I’ll be back”. About an hour later I went back there with all related documents packed inside an Express Post envelope. There was a male customer at the counter and two more customers behind me. The male customer was complaining to the older little man behind the counter, he said Australia Post took one month to deliver his package, which came from Hong Kong. The older little man argued “The problem must be in Hong Kong” but the customer insisted “No, the delay happened here”. When it was my turn to be served, the older little man took my Express Post envelope, scanned it and gave me my receipt. I said “You mentioned before that I need to pay an extra $2.50?”. He said “No, this is paid for, you don’t need to pay”. I said “Well, perhaps you’re right, considering most offices are closed due to COVID lockdown. No one would be there to receive the package and sign for it anyway”. He was holding on to my envelope and made a dismissive gesture, so I asked “May I have the little yellow sticker with the reference number please?” He said “You don’t need it, it’s been scanned and the number is on your receipt.” I really thought it was odd of him refusing my request and said “All the same, I prefer to stick the yellow sticker on my receipt.” He then put the envelope on a scale in front of me in a huff and said “We can’t have too many people in here, you need to go.” So, I quickly peeled off the sticker, stuck it on my receipt, put the envelope back on the scale, thanked him and left. This person really needs to learn how to treat customers with respect or find a different job. I am now questioning myself “Have I done the right thing? Could I trust them to make sure that my important documents will be delivered safely and securely?”

One star is already generous. 0 stars would represent it's horrible and slow staff. The man is super slow and he is such a joke. It takes him 15 minutes to get 4 stamps! Like literally, how does that slowpoke even earn money at the post shop? I would not recommend going here.
