    The inscription states: 'Dedicated to all NSW Government K9's. To honour those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.' Two police dogs in particular mentioned. The death of one caused the passing of new laws making it an offence to injure or kill a service animal. These dogs were 'brothers and sons of the Wollondilly Shire'.
