I used to buy there, but never again. I went to Edgecliff station toilets. A man can out of one of the cubicles, wearing an apron,. Washed one hand because he had phone in the other.. I asked him why are you wearing an apron. He just smiled, followed him to Davin bakeries. I spoke to the manager, she said sorry, but he is only the kitchen hand.
Recently moved to a different location. I came here a lot as a little kid but I always visit when I'm in the area. Great solid everyday bakery/patisserie, my favourite snacks are the eclairs and the olive bread. Also great for special orders like custom birthday cakes, or when you need a suddenly large amount of anything too. Service is always friendly and accommodating.
Yesterday I bought tiramisu cake, a super delicious cake, recommended many friends to buy.
Great service , and quality food. Their bread butter pudding is the best in Sydney .
It's exactly what it looks like. A brilliantly everyday bakery, run by a team of super hardworking people. The Jam Donut is lovely. And the pies are excellent. It's not french patisserie, but its all you'll need
