Dr. Joseph Shohmelian

I visited Dr Shohmelian for a check up after my mother recommended him. He was very informative during the appointment and explained everything very thoroughly about the health of my teeth. I made another appointment with Dr Shohmelian for a wisdom tooth removal, filling and a cleaning which felt like the easiest procedure of my life, I did not feel uncomfortable for one second whilst he was working on my teeth. He also made sure I understand the after care my teeth would require before leaving his office. I am glad to have found a great dentist in Dr Shohmelian. His two assistants and receptionist Shannon are also very lovely people :).

I have been a patient of Dr Shohmelian for over 30 years.I simply can’t express my gratitude and appreciation of Dr Shohmelian for his professionalism and knowledge in his business. All these years I have never had any issues except high quality of service. My father was a dentist and if there is anybody who would know a fair bit about this profession it is myself. I find Dr Shohmelian has a great mannerism and is a highly competent dentist.I highly recommend Dr Shohmelian, as I have already recommended to all my family and friends. I would like on behalf my wife to thank Dr Shohmelian for looking after our teeth so professionally for all this years.

It doesn't surprise me at all to read how Dr. Shohmelian has developed such a loyal following of patients. I've been a patient for about 25 years and I have nothing but admiration for his work and the wonderful team who support him. I've presented quite a few dental challenges over the years and not once have I been disappointed with the outcome. A combination of great dental skills combined with a brilliantly engaging style certainly keeps me coming back.

I have always received excellent and competent service from Dr Shohmelian and his highly professional and friendly team over the 25 years I have been a patient. I first visited Dr Shohmelian in 1998 (22yrs ago). i had a bad cavity in a wisdom tooth, which should have meant i'd lose the tooth. the original fix is still perfectly good all these years later. I had 2 fillings before this time, but none at all since. his suggested treatment of filling of natural micro-cracks with resin has prevented them. I've been seeing him exclusively, at least yearly ever since. even when working overseas i timed return visits to Sydney to line up with my appointments. I've recommended friends who had trauma from childhood dental treatments, and they've been able to overcome the fear. best medical practitioner I've ever seen.
