    I do not usually bother with reviews etc but I have no hesitation in recommending Spec Savers Woy Woy Have bought several pairs of reading glasses there,over the last few years. Never a problem $39 budget specs Prescription on Medicare card cannot be argued with. True value to a clumsy Gardener like me.

    Customer service was fine but when I ordered glasses in store and ask for anti reflection lenses the collection time suddenly jumped all the way to 1-3 months. How???? I purchased the glasses in store and it was the last pair and just asking for anti reflection lenses pushes it all the way back to 1-3 months? It’s been several weeks since I bought the glasses. Incredibly unsatisfactory including the fact that they did no explain why it would take that long.

    Excellent Customer Service; best one that I’ve received till now. Everyone was so helpful and nice and informative, especially my eye doctor, Jason. Thank you for your wonderful service!

    It's a Specsavers so the glasses are fine. What was fantastic was the team! The best optometrist session I've ever had, really friendly, very efficient but you didn't feel you were be shoved through. The rest of the team were perfect and there was no pressure. I have two sets of great glasses and would use THIS STORE again .... and probably Specsavers.

    Abysmal service and treatment from this store! Would NOT recommend. Made an urgent appointment due to the Dr suspecting i had underlying health issues due to loss of vision. Booked online and arrived on time for my appointment. Staff member decided to take my details, I found it strange and pointed out that i had been before. At this point she fumbled around and said she had duplicated my record and needed to merge them. I then sat down and waited for my appointment. 15 mins passed and I asked if I was up next as I could feel a migraine coming on due to sitting under a fluorescent light in the corridor. Numerous members of staff just standing around and nobody could tell me why I was still waiting, until the first member of staff who duplicated my file said "oh I thought you were in at 10.50am" and no apology. I told them I needed to wait outside because I could feel a migraine. I stood outside of the store for another 20mins and a fellow shop owner came to ask if I was o.k, and if I needed a chair to sit down. 45mins after my original appointment time I was called in. Because of my loss of vision, I was asked to take a further test by the optometrist. I was then asked to wait again under the fluorescent light which I said no I'll wait outside. A further 20 mins I waited until I went inside store to see what was going on. Nobody knew why I was still waiting. Numerous staff just stood around chatting and didn't have a clue what was going on! No apologises from any staff about the misunderstanding of me waiting twice, or even checking my welfare after I told them I was about to have a migraine due to their fluorescent lighting. Fast forward 2 days, and I get a call saying my contact lenses are ready. I didn't order any contacts. Explained that i didn't need them and was told it must have been their mistake. A few hours later I get ANOTHER call from them saying that I needed them as my prescription had changed. I explained again I do not need them. I hardly ever use them as I wear glasses. A very condescending member of staff then starts questioning where I get my lenses and script from, whilst my toddler is clearly screaming and needing my attention. I got very wound up by this, and asked to speak to the Manager, as I didn't need 2 phone calls with them arguing about me needing to collect contact lenses which I hadn't even ordered!! I then tell the manager everything that has happened, and his response was "what's the problem if you don't need them, don't collect them" (the contacts) and "we don't respond to people who wait outside of the store" - I clearly told the staff where I was, and was stood in front of the store glass front where they could see me. Do yourself a favour and don't waste your time here like I did!! Clueless and uncaring staff and equally as useless manager who couldn't care less!! AVOID.
