The one star I've given this establishment is too much. Avoid, Avoid, Avoid! I was severely misdiagnosed, which led to an unnecessary and unpleasant round of treatment. I was told (with a smirk) that there was an additional charge of over $100 to receive copies of images of my scan. The copies I received were as dark as night. Antigua and Barbuda has better facilities. AVOID this one!

My experience here was absolute misery. I am a student at AUA and was referred here for an ultrasound as I was having extreme abdominal pain. The doctor at the clinic, Dr. Samuel, arrived an hour and a half after the clinic itself opened. He then diagnosed me with gallstones which would require surgery. I was originally told my surgery would be at Belmont itself, however, a whole week passed and I still received no word. As it turns out, Dr. Samuel who is either the owner or director of the health center (this is still unclear to me) was not returning phone calls regarding if my surgery could be at Belmont or not. This was obviously a problem for me as I was in extreme pain. This went on for a full week and no one was able to get in touch with Dr. Samuel directly which is unacceptable. Finally, I moved on and found another place to have my surgery. Finally after a week and a half I was able to speak with a surgeon who sent me for a second ultrasound to another doctor who very quickly diagnosed me with appendicitis and NOT gallstones. So not only was Dr. Samuel unavailable for a full week, he misdiagnosed me and almost caused me to have an unnecessary surgery while also missing a diagnosis that could have become dangerous very quickly had my appendix ruptured in the week I sought his response. If getting treatment, my advice is go somewhere else on the island. Beyond just Dr. Samuel’s ineptitude, the front desk staff is rude and uninformed as they are unable to answer simple questions. Belmont is overpriced, over rated, and quite frankly Dr. Samuel is underqualified. If they don’t misdiagnose you or botch your surgery leaving you unable to, don’t walk but run away from Belmont Clinic.

250 USD for a 10mn consultation. Seems a bit excessive.
