    My wife and I would like to thank the hotel staff for being so kind to us and accommodating. My wife broke her ankle while we were hiking. We didn't return to the hotel from the emergency room until after 1AM. When the person at the front desk saw our distress he ran to get a wheelchair so that she wouldn't need to use crutches in the hotel. He helped her out to the curb again when we had to check out later that morning. He even gave us some fruit and juice for breakfast since we left before their continental breakfast opened. We are extremely grateful to the hotel staff for everything they did to help us during this difficult situation. We want to return to Iceland again. When we do, we'll be coming back to the Lighthouse Inn. This was a quick weekend trip to see the erupting volcano. This hotel more than met our needs, being in near the airport and about a half hour away from the volcano. The room accommodations were pleasant, comfortable, and clean. We loved the all-wood interior of the hotel. We ate the continental breakfast on the morning after we arrived and it was delicious.

    A stay so amazing and rooms so brilliant with amenities, such a beautiful view no matter the window. With staff so beyond warm and welcoming. Breakfasts so simple yet divine (try the canary melon with the English Breakfast tea!!). Beyond my amazing icelandic adventures: the Inn was just amazing. Will miss all of you and it, until the next time. Definitely will stay again...

    Lovely warm atmosphere, kind and helpful staff, excellent, calm location. Spacious rooms with Scandinavian-style practical details. Breakfast was great. Very enjoyable hotel, recommended!

    Very nice hotel and nice staff. Cozy rooms regardless of season. A short walk from epic ocean views.

    Clean. Comfy bed. Blackout curtains. Good amount of space in the room. Coffee maker in the room but there is coffee in the common area too. Plenty of towels. Breakfast included. If you want dinner you have to drive or walk down the road towards the lighthouse. There is a restaurant. It is very good.
