    Staying here right now for two nights. You know that song words “back in the USSR”? Actually what I felt arriving here. First of all, the reception girl is awfully rude and nationalistic, on arrival she asked something in Latvian, we asked what in Russian and she continued to talk Latvian. Really? Is that greetings from Talsi? Don’t know Russian - reply in English. But language is not the only weak point of this hotel. After a long day, coming back to hotel I cannot get a cup of tea because there is no kettle in the room, receptionist cannot provide hot water and in hotel restaurant there is “private event” and receptionist couldn’t get two cup of hot water. Secondly, there is no hair dryer in the room, I was pressed to ask for it a few times. After all, we were asked about the time when we come to breakfast and in the morning we were waiting for 20 minutes to get awful coffee and a bit of food. Bravo guys, good luck, you are doing invaluable contribution to the development of regional tourism. I do not recommend anyone stay here.

    Receptionist was very nice and friendly. Rooms though are very humble, but atleast clean. 50 euros for room and breakfast is little bit too high, but if you don't have any other option this one is still okey.
