I had a very good time. It was overcast at night, so no Northern lights, but relaxing. I recommend it if you are not planning on visiting any other hot springs. I only rated this place as 3 stars because compared to my other hot spring experiences it felt like I was just in a large hot tub in Iceland. I'd say it was overpriced, but cost is all relevant compared to how expensive Iceland is anyway. They pride themselves on being able to drink the water, which is fine, but I hope they don't mean from the pool. That many bodies in and out... I'd rather drink directly from a glacier. I still recommend the experience. Check the northern lights app and if it will be a clear night. Might be worth going at night.

Very relaxing. Beautiful at night Under the stars. The swim up bar was very cool. The payment was high tech, along with the lockers. You will need to shower naked prior to bath. Private shower stalls are available.

Amazing place directly in and close to a lake. You can float in the pools and then jump into the cold lake. Everything is very stylish and the water is clean, natural water from a hot water source. Very lovely and amazing Lake view! Unfortunately the water was quite cold. We definitely weren't the only ones looking around and trying to find a hot spot. As they told us at the entrance it should be 38, 41 and 42 ° I was very disappointed. The hottest spot was maybe 36? After good 30min we decided to ask a employee and he said a lot of people complained so he just turned up the hot water. 40-50min later the water was definitely getting warmer and even hot at some places. So definitely go there it is beautiful! But for this price ask to see what the water temperature is before paying the entrance... some people even left after 30min because it was so cold and that for 40 dollar (5500 isk) entrance.

Great spot for a soak. Staff was so friendly and spoke English very well. The locker rooms were clean and modern and the pools were excellent. The swim up bar is a great feature. Would love to go back.

Nice staff, amazing and clean facilities, beautiful setting. Those who are shy about showering with other people (not that you should be), they have private showers here with lockable doors. Being able to jump into the lake is super cool. The only downside is that the floating pools aren’t as warm as we wanted it to be, just 1-2 degrees warmer would have been perfect.
