Sorry to report that the facilities needed some much needed attention. There was a sign on the door with instructions on how and where to pay (at the N1 Gas station) and how the management would service the area 3 times a day. We actually donated a roll of toilet paper! My pictures report that the service did not happen our entire stay. Luckily we were traveling on Shoulder Season and not many campers were at this site. The location was ideal for us after taking the Ferry Baldur with access to Latrabjarg cliffs.

Warm and clean common room with cooking facilities and some utensils, a washing machine inside. There are only two toilets inside, one per gender - can be a bit overcrowded. The payment is in the restaurant near the gas station - it works from 10 to 21 on weekdays, and from 11 on weekends. Be aware that the showers are not directly in the camping. They are part of a swimming pool and gym, which close at 21:30 (must be close to the camp, but we haven't searched for them - we arrived later, when they were already closed).

1850 kr per person. There's a small kitchen and two bathrooms. You can use the showers in the swimming pool. Great view of the ocean. Supermarket is on the other side of the town, but there's a nice little restaurant next to the gas station nearby where you can also buy some snacks

Camping site well located and the ground is suitable for tents (Iceland's campgrounds problem). Only one bathroom per gender and no showers. So prepare yourself for a wait if you need to go; no playground for kids.

We drove to this campsite versus the one near because the reviews said it has hot showers. Well, this smallish camp ground was packed with us parking on the paved parking lot near, with only two toilets for the entire campground (full full full). No showers!!! We had to drive to the swimming pool. We’ve been staying at a new camping site in the last 2.5 weeks so we’ve seen many. This is the worst from all! The town also has nothing to offer.
