An enjoyable tour through some beautifully restored turf farm houses. Lots of original historical artifacts are still here and the buildings are all set up as they were originally. There is also a nice little cafe on site with small dishes to eat and soup and coffee

Amazing insight into C19 life in Iceland, outside blowing a gale, inside deathly quiet. Great reconstruction of how people here used to live, their crafts. Don't forget your mask as person at entrance will send you away, even though its an Open Air Museum!!!!

Beautiful museum. Takes at least 20 minutes to walk through the whole thing. You can definitely make it a lot longer by actually looking at it. They dress in classic garments and has a very quant nice vibe.

Very nice museum, it is a farm used between 1700 and the early 1900. It is well displayed and there are leaflets with translation. A place to visit if you want to see how life was like.

Very cool place to visit. I loved seeing inside the turf houses and learning about the history of this place.
