I absolutely loved this place. Not only does it hold a Michelin star. It is in a great location..... the regenerated red light district known as The Gut..... ask a naval person for that back story. The food is local, hearty and portions are substantial..... my risotto starter was enough for a main. The wine list is plentiful with a range of prices to suit everyone. I loved the staff a great mix of efficiency, local characters and no nonsense. Make sure you book or you won't get in ...... on a Monday night they were fully booked all evening.
Managed to get a table towards the end of the evening, service felt a little slow, but I will put that down to the fact that it was the end of service and we were sitting outside. The rabbit stew was delicious, well seasoned and deep with rich flavour, it was comfort food done well. Certain well worth a visit, if you are looking for a good traditional Maltese rabbit stew.
We waited all day for this place to open and ran the minute it hit 6:30. Thank you so much for accommodating us with no booking! The food is incredible. Rabbit stew was delicious, pork tender, the portions are huge and the service is great. What a lovely experience we really enjoyed our dinner here!

Amazing food! Definitely worth visiting. Rabbit stew was cooked perfect. Portions were maltese size so you have to be quite hungry to finish everything :)
