RENAULT JUNGLINSTER - GARAGE DE L'EST

Unfortunately I had a rather bad experience at Garage de l'Est with my Nissan. I'm still a young driver and not very experienced in car maintenance matters. I brought my car here due to a sqeaky noise it made. They did not prevent me befeorehand, when I sheduled the time with them, that I would also need to make an extra reservation for a replacement car during the days my car would be there. I did not know that, so I unexpectedly had to drive around the country by public transport for an entire week. The receptionist was not very friendly and contrary to her promise, did not let me know in time for how long they would keep the car in. She let me wait 1h30 in Junglinster, then I returned to know whether they knew now and the mechanics guy told me that they OBVIOUSLY would have to keep it for at least several days. I waited in vain thus. I wonder if she would have ever called me back ... when they finally fixed it, the car still made the sqeaky noise, they had replaced a piece for which they did not show me the broken piece that was replaced. If I had been more experienced I would have insisted to see the piece. As I had to return to my country of studies abroad, I could not return to the garage to let them fix the noisy bit. I had to do that abroad. Garage de l'Est billed me over 700 € for something that did not fix the problem I went there for. The garage abroad asked me around 450 € (Switzerland) to fix the real problem. I will not return to Garage de l'Est ever again.

Too bad that I have to forgive a star .... but read for yourself. Our Dacia Duster, 110ps diesel, 4x4, stopped in Flaxweiler on 05/06/19. The ACL towed this off to the "Garage de l'est" in Junglinster. That no replacement vehicle was available, I could understand at this time. In the next 14 days, no one has bothered. So much for customer service. After several phone calls and 14 days later on 20/06/19 it was finally time. Oh wonder of technology, the car was repaired. They had difficulty finding the mistake, even the headquarters of Dacia was called, who could not make a rhyme to the mistake. Finally, the diesel pump was replaced with electronics. We were warned that something had been manipulated on the car and that they had replaced it out of sheer tolerance for free. But I have to say that the car has a 5 year warranty or 150 tkm and this car is undrugged. As far as the modification or conversions on the car are concerned, these are AT Bf Goodrich tires with a coarse profile with exactly the same masses as the original tire. Otherwise there would be problems with the SNCT. According to the "chief Meschanikers", this car was not built for such a rough profile and certainly not for terrain. This is all new !!!!!!!!!!! I buy an off-road vehicle, I'm never allowed to drive off-road and only put on road tires. Although I do not know what the "chief mechanic" in this Kashämm ingests, but he should swallow only half of it, that would be better. I have been driving a second Dacia Duster for 8 years. Since that time, I have always found a lot of incompetence and ignorance on the part of this repair shop city. Here also our ways will separate. Let's hope that the other Renault, Nissan Dacia garages show more competence and knowledge.
