Beautiful church, the dominant feature of the town of Mimoň.

The Baroque Church of St. Peter and Paul was built in 1663 by an old Romanesque church from the 12th century. In June 1806, during a city fire, a parsonage burned down, a church roof and a clock and a portion of the interior equipment burned down on the church. The fire also melted bells that crashed. After the fire the church was restored. In 1831, a new clock was installed and in 1838 a large bell was hung and another smaller one was suspended.

The view of Ralsko is very nice. It is only a block of blocks. There's nothing you can do about it. But the surroundings of the church with the fountain in a pretty poor state.

Dominant Simon, who is visible from afar. An interesting church that would need to be repaired. In the vicinity of the remains of a cemetery, a water fountain, a chapel will die. Too bad everything is poorly maintained, overgrown, desolate. Otherwise, a place that has a soul. Under the church nice former brewery cellars in the rock.

I will certainly not be far from the point when I write that this beautiful baroque church is the dominant feature of Mimona. Built in the 17th century instead of the old church, surrounded by a park with a fountain, the remains of old tombstones from the defunct cemetery, beautiful statues lining the path to the church, it is a whole forming a beautiful place of contemplation.
