Church of the Passion of St. John the Baptist is one of the oldest buildings in Semily. It was built in 1727 on the site of a wooden church, which burned down during the great fire of the town in 1691. However, the foundation stone was laid in 1723. At the southern wall of the church is the Statue of St. Jan Nepomucký from 1756 from the workshop of sculptor A. Sucharda. However, this statue originally stood on today's Rieger Square, it was relocated in 1920.

Small church with modest decoration. When you think about the graves around, it's a beautiful place with a charming view.
