    I spent seven days on the route through the Guainía, through the Mavicure hills, along the wonderful Atabapo River, through the Southern Fluvial Star, through the Pintao and it was a wonderful experience. Now we can only remember those beautiful places of my country, of a country that we do not know and of which we do not understand the war in which we live. In Guainia I only experienced peace, peace of the river, peace of the jungle, peace of its inhabitants, those inhabitants who know nature and respect it. They are our indigenous people, of whom perhaps we should learn a lot. Hugo Mateus accompanied us, guided us and took care of us. I always felt about him that care and responsibility for visitors. I hope to return one day. To Hugo, to Elsa and to all the members of the community that accompanied us on the trips, thank you very much.
