Great food. Good drinks. Good service. Foods way better than tipsy. Although some of tipsy drinks are slightly better. I would eat at barefoot and then hop between the two for drinks.
Never a dull moment or a weak drink at this place! Barefoot Bar is a cool spot right on the beach that's great for people watching, rum taking and nacho eating. I can spend an hour just trying to decide which of the drinks on the chalkboard to try next. It's hard not to love the women that run this business, the great staff, and everything else about it.
Great selection of food. Even better prices, and stronger drinks than Tipsy Tuna. We ate there many times while we visited for a month. Everything we tried was delicious. Lots of choices for kids too!
A must do in Placencia. The drink and food menus are extensive and all delicious. The lobster grilled cheese sandwich (yes, you heard that right) was so delicious I almost cried. Comfortable chairs, laid back vibes, cool ocean breeze, and friendly staff...what else do you need?
Would come for drinks only, skip the food. Got burgers and the chip dip, didn’t bother to finish either, best part was the bread. Half the dips were cold or congealed. No fish, so we also got the lobster grilled cheese: cheese wasn’t even melted but the lobster was very good! Service was poor, took over and hour and half to get seated, food ordered, delivered and check on only half full restaurant. However, drinks were stout and worth the price.
