Come summer, the whole region gets abundant rainfall, which in turn makes the region more productive, and the locals can be seen throughout the season for farming practices.

Punakha itself is a pictures place and the Punakha Dzong act as a garnishing over the cake. Enter fee for adults is Rs 300 and for the student Rs 150 but one has to produce a student indent card. The temple where the king's wedding take place is incredible.
