The restaurant was closed when I visited. I bought some bread from the bakery, the baguettes are very nice (very hard to find good bread in Peru) but the rolls were dry and sweet. The chicken empanadas are tasty.
Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Fast service. Everthing was really good!
Delicious food, amazing customer service, beautiful tranquil atmosphere. We visited this place for breakfast while visiting Chachapoyas, and went back for lunch and dinner as well! The San Jose breakfast is delicious and very reasonable price. Upstairs is a spacious restaurant, downstairs a small bakery store.
They have a ton of local breads and my favorite handmade Peruvian churros. We also bought cheese from their cheese selection in the back. Had to come back twice, that’s how good the churros were:-)
We visited for breakfast. Food was OK - ordered the San Jose breakfast which came with two fried eggs, tamal, tucsiche, coffee, bread, butter and jam for s/10. It would have been better if juice was also included (as it is at other restaurants and with the American breakfast option) and there was more jam. Not much of a vibe. Free wi-fi.
