    Good location. Friendly stuff. It's a good hostel if you plan on staying in a private room. The dorms are not to nice. I stayed one night in a dorm. You have to share one key with your roommates. If someone arrives late at night, the doors will stay open all night long. It's an open bathroom inside the dorm, where the walls don't reach the ceiling (so it's very loud, you can here Everthing). The rest of our stay we had a private room. This one was perfect. Closed bathroom, big bed. We had a nice stay.

    Hostel El Norte was a great place to stay in Chachapoyas! The staff and owner Ceasar are great and very helpfull to organize trips around Chachapoyas. And... the tours are not expensive ar all. I went to Kuélap and it was great! The guide Bento was very kind, explained a lot and a great guy for the tours. I can totally recommend El Norte. Central located, nice rooms and a great patio with kitchen. Thnx Ceasar for the great stay!!

    It is central, there is a shared kichenett and good service. It is just to get to sleep.
