Two of us stop here for lunch. One meal was the BLT, absolutely delicious! Pasta was the other meal, very tasty as well. Portions were very good. Great wee cafe to visit, parking is right outside the door. Seating available inside or outside. Premises were clean and comfortable. Pricing is very fair. Highly recommend you experience this for yourself, won't be disappointed.
I had the potato hash brown with pumpkin & bacon from the cabinet (I think). It came with a salad underneath & lovely decoration of fresh greens on top, & a generous helping of bacon. Very enjoyable & was a bigger portion than expected. I couldn't pick up the kawakawa flavor in the green tea, but still refreshing. Staff didn't rush us at all. I recommended this place.
Service was very good, and the wine I had was delicious. However the fish was very ordinary and I would not order it again. Partly my own fault for not asking what sort of fish it was first.
We were so pleasantly surprised by this place. The food was awesome (best lamb shank I recall having!) and the service was top notch. We've got two very energetic kiddos who had been stuck in a car for most of the day and the staff were really great with them. We will absolutely be back.
I really enjoy Kitchen, their menu is interesting and they have a selection of GF foods available..
