Very central, but poor otherwise
Really bad hotel. Very old facade and furniture, not clean. The worst is no air conditioner or heating! When we discussed with the impolite receptionist, he said that he was also hot and could not do anything 🤔checked out and chose another hotel!
A bit noisy, near some large road, we can here firefighters or police cars, when it's not a dog barking. Staff seems nice though. Broken light bulb, they won't do your bed every day, sometimes just arranging towels. Yet I've seen worse. So far, I could say the same from the couple other hostel I've been to in Bucharest.
OK-ish with some issues: no air conditioning system, (there's an electric heater for winter days, but no AC for summer cooling), the shower head leaks like crazy (the rubber gasket was missing from the water hose joint), there is a single minuscule table in the room that's barely enough for a laptop and mouse, one of the 2 electrical sockets near that table was defective and the other had a wall-mounted TV plugged in, so I had to unplug the TV to use my laptop... the TV remote was defective anyway too, only the control buttons on the TV worked. Good breakfast and coffee.
