With its 42 meters height, this water tower raised at the end of nineteenth century stands as an impressive historical monument, witnessing different steps in development of firefighters infrastracture in Bucharest. Also used as an observation tower, the monument become obsolete during the 1930's, as the expansion of telephonic services brought a huge improvement in fire alerts during those years.

Interesting people and a beautiful view. 1 century ago, foișorul de 🔥 has been the tallest building in Bucharest. It has been the headquarters of firemen. Now is a museum. A beautiful one! I recommend it !
