There is a station stamp, and if you ask a station employee, it will be issued. There used to be a railroad from here to Awazu Onsen, but it has been discontinued and you can only go by bus or taxi. It's far on foot 😅 There is no limited express stop, and it seems that there are plans to unmanned in the future.

A station with upper and lower sidings and a large premises where cargo was handled. The Hokuriku Railroad was also connected, but it was abolished long ago. Wasn't the express stopped in the days of the Japanese National Railways? ..

This is a simple JR station. There is also a ticket machine. It is also a limited express train retreat station for ordinary trains (the limited express passes). Please note that there are no shops in front of the station or in the station area.

The station name is Awazu Station, but it takes about 10 minutes by car to reach Awazu Onsen. There are railroad crossings with narrow roads around the station, so it is not easy to access.
