    The Municipal Cemetery from Brăila, located in the Chercea neighborhood, is administered by the Brăila Local Council. In fact, you never find the administrator there, because (!) She is a civil servant 😎, but she has a replacement in the person of a woman employed as a gravedigger. It deals with measurements and other issues. However, in this cemetery, eternal places have not yet been sold on the alleys, as is the case at the St. Constantine Cemetery, administered by the same Brăila Local Council, which is even more disastrous. There it is almost impossible to cross the secondary alleys because of this. There are still vacancies here but they are hard to get ... with a lot of money over the official receipt. Until a few years ago, when the problems related to the water and sewerage network were remedied, the water table was so high that about a meter away the water appeared and the coffins were simply submerged, so to speak. I am not saying that complex works such as crypts or other funerary monuments could not be done. That's why everyone avoided burying their dead in this cemetery and implicitly the places of eternity were the cheapest. But since there is no longer the problem with the water table, the prices in the area have also increased. I'm not saying that gravediggers, who don't know who and how many are legally employed, are drunks demanding a lot of money for what they do. At the gate of the cemetery is a chapel and the administrative body. The culmination of the irony next to the cemetery, on the right, is a slaughterhouse, which was closed two or three years ago due to a devastating fire.
