    A very cozy place with good food and drinks. The hosts are super friendly and social with their guests. Highly recommended!

    What a treat! I visited here from Canada in August of 2016 and met a friendly group of Czechs who brought me here for lunch, after a long day of motorcycling through the nearby beautiful mountains. The food was cooked in front of us by the friendly owner, who offered to take pictures of the group on our phones for a nice memory. Most of us ordered ćevapi which was served with fried and fresh vegetables, a fried tenderized veal (?) patty, and sausage. I believe my total with a water bottle was under 9 Euro—extremely affordable. In Ljubljana, you'd pay at least 15 Euro for the same meal. The owner was friendly and conversed with the group in Slovenian, a language that I'm unfamiliar with. The owner understood English well, though we had difficulty understanding one another... I should brush up on my Slovenian for the next visit. This is one of those hidden gems that only the locals seem to know about—definitely check this place out.

    We met the owner on the road when we wanted to take a break from driving, he was super lovely and offered us to rest on his terrace and sip spring water! Awesome.

    This is worth planning a stop both for the ride through the mountains and the warm and friendly service from the owner.
