    The breakfast was beautiful and the staff friendly. It is a decent place to stay on a budget --it does not exactly look as shown in pictures. My biggest problem (besides the smell in the bathroom) is that they do not answer their phone nor respond to Whats App messages and there is no other direct contact according to their website. Make sure you double and triple check that you have collected all your belongings when you leave because you will not get them back. I have left several text messages to ask if the can help me find my Canon camera battery and charger and they have consistently declined my calls and will not reply my messages via Whats App. At the very least a response that they have or have not found the item would be sufficient. Their behaviour after my stay feels inhospitable.

    5 stars, Vítor is very friendly and the facilities are so good that we felt like we're home. Sao Pedro Guesthouse is located in the city of São Tomé and so you can reach every good spot in the city easily. The rooms are clean and the AC is like heaven when you reach your room after a long day under the sun. I strongly recommend this place.

    Excellent ratio value-for-money. Rich, varying and succulent breakfast, their pool is a major asset in this hot and humid city. Has generator and good hot/cold water supply. Reliable, no-fuss airport transfer. English spoken @ reception. Cosy family enterprise. Will come back anytime. No restaurant though, only snack bar (closes at 10 p.m., which is o.k.).

    Well located, since it is close to the center and you can go on foot, with spacious rooms and a very cool pool. All very clean thanks to the guy who works there and well managed by his owner, who saved us from missing a flight, taking us to the airport with his car because the taxi driver we had hired failed us.
