    For someone that grew up here, Faleolo airport has improved tremendously. Now if you were to compare it to a Heathrow, or Hatfield or LAX airports, it is nothing. But if you compare it to how far it has come, it is a significant improvement. These are things I've seen improve: - Air condition inside arrivals and departure lounges - Jetway/walkways from airplane to lounge - Expanded operations and enlarged airport area - Improved restrooms (AC as well) - Expanded parking lots Although small changes, these are noticeable and welcomed changes and upgrades to the Faleolo Airport. It's been fun to witness.

    Really efficient new little airport. Effortless to get in and out of. A couple of reasonably priced eateries and snack bars, and no trouble getting local money from the ATM. Traveled direct from Sydney on Samoa Airways, who were right on time both ways. An excellent newly established Govt. airline run by an Italian company. Do support them. It is by far the easiest way to travel to and from Australia.

    Even though I had lock on my suitcase, it was opened and all my jewelry and make up stolen. When I arrived to the airport, I saw a long line of people wrapping their bags. Now I understand why. Wrap your stuff too! You can't prove it that you had it.

    Terrible hospitality from staff 👎🏼 Visit the island twice this yr and service was just as bad as before. They frowned, no greetings and helpless when I had to put my 1 yr old baby down to carry our luggage on belt, useless men were just standing behind one another 🤦‍♀️ C’mon people, don’t bring your sad lives to work, supposedly you’re the face of Samoa when visitors arrive.
