    I would HIGHLY recommend this slaščičarna! Everything about it - the friendly service, the quality of the cake and the price - was exactly right. I wanted a cake for our gender reveal party (which I know isn’t common in Slovenia; I’m American), and I needed a cake for the next day. I went to another bakery in Šiška first but they weren’t able to do my order in a day. Then I went to this bakery and they were SUPER accommodating. They said they could have a cake ready for the next day and we’re able to do everything I asked - the blue and white icing, plus the baby boy decorations. The lady who helped me was SO friendly and kind and patient as I ordered in Slovene (I’ve only lived here for 8 months so far) and I left feeling really good about it. When I sent my husband back the next day to pick up the cake, he also said they were super friendly and understanding with him too. The price of the cake was €35 and serves 10 but we served 12 pieces with ice cream and it was plenty. When I saw the cake, I was so surprised. It exceeded my expectations! The decor was so intricate and well done and they made it so special for such a last-minute order. And, it was also DELICIOUS! The icing was like whipped cream (my favorite kind!) and not too sweet and the inside was chocolate cake, strawberry and some kind of mousse. It was honestly one of the best cakes I’ve had in Slovenia. I would highly recommend this slaščičarna if you need a cake decorated for a specific occasion. They did such an amazing job! The only thing that was confusing was this bakery is not exactly where Google Maps says it is. It’s actually in the building behind the one it says it’s in. I would recommend changing this if possible so others can find your amazing place! I ended up going to the wrong slaščičarna first (with a very similar name!)before I found where this one was. Otherwise, the whole experience was great!

    Very tasty biscuits, flancers, wonderful and very good cakes. In fact, all confectionery is excellent. On request, also for special occasions, they adapt to the wishes of the customer. We are very pleased and we are happy to return :)
