Beautiful mosque in tunis.
Pretty mosque surrounded by dirt everywhere and the chaos of the vegetable souk. I hope this place will be more livable one day.
Beautiful and characteristic mosque in the historic center of Tunis, it is distinguished by the particular minaret that stands out among the intricate alleys of the Medina. Like most mosques it is only accessible for prayer with a few rare exceptions. It is one of the historical buildings of Tunis. Externally it seems in good condition despite many years have passed since construction.
It is a beautiful mosque with a great architectural history
The Mosque of Sahib al-Tabba is also known as the Mosque of the Halfayans, because it is located in the Square of the Halfies in Tunis. Minister Yusuf Sahib al-Tabaa founded it in the year 1229 AH / 1814AD and the first prayer in which the Friday obligatory ritual was observed, corresponding to the birthday of that year. The direct engineering of his construction was Al-Haj Sassi bin Freijah, and he participated in its construction as a whole of the European currency, except for decoration, stylization, inlay and engraving in his iron, which the mosque's arches and roofs were denoted, it was made by Muslims and brought marble from Italy. His foundation passed away, and the mosque silo was not completed.
